Robert Witek
President of the Board, CEO
He has been working for „Energopomiar” Sp. z o.o. since 2000. On December 10, 2020, he was appointed as President of the Company’s Management Board. Previously, he held the position of Technical Director for 10 years.
As Technical Director he was responsible for sales and development of five organizational units of „Energopomiar” Sp. z o.o., i.e., Division of Thermal Technique, Division of Chemistry and Diagnostics, Division of Environmental Protection, Consulting and Investor Supervision Office and Central Laboratory.
From 2007 to 2009 he was Manager of the Owner’s Engineer Team during the construction of the 460 MW unit (island mode operation) at PKE Łagisza Power Plant SA.
He began his professional career in „Energopomiar” Sp. z o.o. as a measurement engineer in 2000. In 2001 he became Manager of the Turbine Section. He was then in charge for team management and technical supervision in the scope of performance testing and diagnostics of turbines including their auxiliaries, cooling systems and pumps.
He coordinated and performed measurements and consulting services at the majority of power plants and CHP plants in Poland.
From 1999 to 2000 he worked for the company engaged in designing and constructing water and wastewater pipelines. Previously, he was employed as an assistant lecturer (doctoral student) in the Institute of Turbomachinery of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, where from 1988 to 1999 he taught courses related to thermodynamics, power plants, steam cycles and also new technologies of electric energy and heat generation.
In 1998 he obtained MSc Degree in Clean Power Technologies at the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He is a graduate of the Managerial Studies based on MBA program at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics (2007). He completed a number of training courses on investment project management and public procurement law.
Privately a husband and father of two sons. He spends his free time scuba diving, skiing and travelling.
