Certification Body
Accredited certification of Power-Generating Modules as part of the grid connection process in accordance with the NC RfG requirements

The Accredited Certification Body, operating within the structure of “Energopomiar” Sp. z o.o., certifies the compliance of Power Generating Modules (PGMs) with the requirements of the Network Code on Requirements for Generators (NC RfG) within the scope covered by the accreditation of the Polish Centre for Accreditation.
Certification involves assessing the compliance of PGMs with the current requirements specified in the NC RfG Code and the Polish “General Application Requirements” approved by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. These requirements concern the technical conditions for connecting synchronous PGMs, power park modules (PPM) and offshore power park modules to power systems.
The certification process is conducted in accordance with the NC RfG Code Compliance Certification Program, maintaining the principles of impartiality, confidentiality and equal access to the certification process.
As an integral part of Energopomiar Sp. z o.o., a company with many years of experience in the energy sector, the Certification Body provides comprehensive certification services. Our certificates confirm that products comply with rigorous, specified requirements resulting from national and international standards and legislation. With a passion for precision and commitment to the development of modern energy technologies, we support producers, suppliers and investors in achieving a competitive advantage in a dynamically changing market and the ongoing energy transformation.
Why is PGM conformity certification important?
Failure to provide a certificate confirming compliance with the Network Code NC RfG results in the rejection of the connection application by the relevant system operator and prevents the connection of the PGM to the electricity grid.
The certificate confirms compliance with the specified technical requirements described in the following documents:
Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/631 of 14 April 2016 establishing a network code on requirements for grid connection of generators (NC RfG);
“General Application Requirements arising from Commission Regulation (EU) 2016/631 of 14 April 2016 establishing a network code on requirements for grid connection of generators (NC RfG)”.
Professionalism and quality
The Certification Body of “Energopomiar” Sp. z o.o. is synonymous with the highest standards of quality and reliability in the certification of PGMs.
For more than 75 years, Energopomiar Sp. z o.o. has worked to ensure the safety and efficiency of energy systems in Poland and abroad.
Our Certification Body is a natural continuation of this tradition. Our experienced team of engineers, auditors and technical experts combines extensive specialist knowledge with practical experience gained through major energy infrastructure projects. This enables us to provide certification services to the highest professional standards.
Global reach
We also provide certification services outside Poland. The Certification Body’s accreditation certificate, scope of accreditation and documentation are available in both Polish and English.
The certificates we issue can also be used in projects implemented in European and international markets, taking into account the requirements of relevant operators, authorities and stakeholders.
Safety and reliability in the energy sector
The energy transition is placing increasingly higher demands on the power system in terms of the stability, security and reliability of generating sources.
The Certification Body certifies PGMs, with a particular focus on type D modules, which are especially important to the operation of the electricity system. We assess conformity with the requirements of the NC RfG Network Code, placing particular emphasis on verifying compliance with the specific requirements applicable to these units and thereby helping to minimise the risk of grid failures.
Certification is more than formality. It is an essential foundation for the safe, stable and responsible development of the energy sector.

Our approach combines engineering, economic and environmental expertise with reliable data.
Accreditation
Accreditation of the Certification Body constitutes formal confirmation of compliance with the requirements regarding impartiality, technical competence and conducting certification activities in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard and the accreditation requirements of the Polish Centre for Accreditation.
Accreditation No.: AC 263
